Established in 1954, St. George Episcopal School is a coeducational independent school community located in central San Antonio, Texas.
We offer exceptional academic preparation in an inclusive community of students, faculty, and families. Lower school competed in the 2024 St. George Bike Rodeo today! 🚲
1st through 5th grade students competed in skills tests that showed their ability to maneuver their bikes safely. The rodeo also included a bicycle inspection to ensure each bike maintained all safety requirements such as reflectors and proper air pressure.
1st place 🥇 from the boys and girls division in each grade level is invited to compete in the City Bike Rodeo! Congratulations to all our winners and to everyone who competed! 🚴

Our 2024 Chain of Love starts TODAY!!!
Chain of love began 19 years ago as a way to demonstrate the impact the St. George community can make on those around the world. Each dollar raised in this annual fundraiser is represented by a domino that is then turned into a HUGE domino chain built by students. What started out as a chain of 3,500 dominos has grown to anywhere between 26,000-40,000! It is an amazing visual way to see what we can do when we all join together to work toward a common goal.
Over the years, the funds raised through Chain of Love have helped support our sister school, St. Benoit, in Mombin Crochu, Haiti. We have helped build their church and school, fund teacher salaries, student uniforms, and school lunches, build latrines, and connected them with Texas Water Mission so they now have access to clean and safe water! Haiti is experiencing unprecedented difficult times, and they need our help more than ever.

Nothing Eclipses St. George Day was a great success!
Students launched rockets, raced drones, ate sun chips and moon pies, and made safety covers for around their viewing glasses! Parents then joined us on campus for totality viewing. We were still able to catch glimpses of the sun and moon through the clouds, and it sure did get dark during totality! We had a great time together celebrating a rare event for San Antonio. ☀️ 🌕
