Kendra M. Lopez

First Grade Teacher

Appointed in 2003

I am a strong advocate of private Episcopal School Education. When I moved to San Antonio, I had hopes of continuing to teach in the Episcopal Schools. St. George, in my opinion, is the best in the area.  This is my 24th year teaching and my 15th year here at St. George.  Of the 24 years I have been teaching, 15 years have been in 1st grade. This is where I feel the most comfortable and where I know I can give my best. I bring a love of teaching and learning in a Christian setting to my job.

My husband and I have two sons.  Chris (21) is a Jr. in college and John Michael (18) is a Sr. at TMI-The Episcopal School of Texas. My family is strongly involved in the life of St. George Church and School. As a family, we enjoy the outdoors, camping, the beach, all sports, and Camp Capers (our Diocese Church Camp). You will also find us at our family ranch, the F9, experiencing all of God’s glory.  Along with these activities with my family, I enjoy photography, rooting for my SPURS and spending time with dear friend
