It is truly a blessing to be teaching at St. George Episcopal School. The outstanding resources and support make it a great environment for learning. A chance to be part of a traditionally strong academic school with a great athletic program ultimately brought me to St George School.
I teach 6th grade History and 7th/8th grade Physical Education. I really enjoy the middle school age group in the classroom. I am a firm believer that History can be exciting and is a great subject for students to become active learners. The goal is to have the students bring the history to life in their own ways.
I have been married for just over a year to my beautiful wife Yartiza (Yari). We have both enjoyed being part of the St George family over the past year. I am currently head football and track coach, while my wife is the girls track coach as well. Our family has loved being involved with so many wonderful student-athletes and families through our association with this school. Being able to teach at a school that challenges students academically and allows growth spiritual has been very rewarding.
