Lori Boies, PhD, MPH is a Biology instructor at St. Mary’s University where she teaches undergraduate students on a wide range of topics in the biological sciences from introductory courses to neuroscience and genomics, along with Public Health classes.  Additionally, she has been an active member of the Bexar County Medical Society Alliance (BCMSA) for over a decade, serving as president of the BCMSA during its centennial year in 2017 and serves on the board of the Texas Medical Association Alliance (TMAA).  Lori’s love of the breadth of the biology field encourages her exploration of nature and observation of the natural world – many times through the lens of photography.  She also enjoys spending time with her husband, Brian, and two daughters who attend St. George Episcopal School.
