The Admissions Committee of St. George School seeks students who will thrive in a community of active learners and kind friends. We accept applications for admission year-round.
Junior and senior kindergarten candidates seeking admission may visit St. George in the spring for a one-hour observation in a classroom environment, as well as a separate skills assessment administered by a faculty member. Children are evaluated for age appropriate developmental readiness including good behavior and social skills. Applicants need to be of age by September 1, and a recommendation form from their current teacher (if the child is currently attending school) is required.
Lower and middle school candidates seeking admission are encouraged to participate in a “shadow” visit. Shadow visits occur on regularly scheduled school days, and offer an enjoyable and realistic way to experience St. George student life.
To schedule a personal tour, a Shadow Visit for your child, or for more information on the school or our admissions process, please click here, or contact our Director of Admissions, Melissa Patterson at 210-342-4263 or firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to meeting with you and your child to see how they can benefit from all St. George Episcopal School has to offer.
