Virginia Scherer

Ginny is currently serving with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in Belize City as a social work case manager for Hand in Hand Ministries. She will be assisting Belizeans living on the margins of society by providing no-cost housing through their Building for Change program. As a case manager, her job is to work with partners throughout the application process, including home visits and building houses. In the future, Ginny hopes to draw from her international experience and service work in whatever career she chooses to pursue.
