Alison Urbanowski

Sixth and Seventh Grade Mathematics

I was drawn to the Saint George community by the outstanding administration and dedicated faculty. From the moment I stepped on campus, I knew that I was in the midst of an exceptional learning, faith-based environment.   The lure of the positive atmosphere, which permeates the campus from a shared sense of core values, was further enhanced by my encounters with the students and their families.

I have spent the last thirty in education, and each year I feel inspired and honored to work with such amazing young minds. Using innovative, hands-on lessons that address and develop diverse learning styles, I strive to help each scholar gain not only the necessary content and skills, but also to ignite the sparks of perseverance and curiosity.  Lessons are designed to empower students to make meaningful connections while having fun and thinking both critically and creatively. It is my desire to help each child develop a strong academic foundation, personal integrity, and the fortitude to problem solve.
