We offer outstanding academic preparation for high school and beyond to students of typical to exceptional ability.

St. George Episcopal School is a coeducational, Christian community of approximately 500 students, jr. kindergarten through eighth grade, located in the city of Castle Hills in the heart of San Antonio, Texas. We offer outstanding academic preparation for high school and beyond to students of typical to exceptional ability. Our graduates routinely excel at top high schools across the city, with 95% of graduates qualifying for honors or advanced classes. Established in 1954, St. George remains loyal to the original vision of its founders: to provide an affordable, quality academic experience to students regardless of culture, faith, and economic background.

Time spent in the classroom is only one part of the larger education students receive at St. George. A diverse program of extracurricular events and activities helps to build a strong sense of community among students, parents, and teachers alike, and helps create an environment conducive to growth and learning.

The St. George Community

St. George is a faith-based community of parents, teachers, and students dedicated to the common goal of developing well-rounded young adults. We believe that by encouraging and supporting each student’s area of God-given talent, our children will gain confidence and are likely to achieve at a high level and in a multitude of areas.

Our community is strengthened by the time, talent, and contributions provided by parents, grandparents, alumni, and members of the local San Antonio community. Our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) fosters a sense of enthusiasm and pride through family events, teacher recognition, and fundraising efforts that directly benefit the educational experience for our children. Parents, grandparents, alumni, faculty, and friends support our community through Annual Fund contributions, planned gifts, and active participation in school events and fundraising efforts.
