Day of the Dragon

We are excited to launch a new tradition at St. George – Day of the Dragon. This special day brings together the many things that make our school community strong – generosity, school spirit, and the joy of gathering together. We wanted one day that captures the heart of who we are as a community.

On this day, we:

• Give to the Dragon Fund, fueling the resources that allow every student to thrive.
• Celebrate our pride and spirit across campus.
• Gather together to cheer on our athletes and strengthen our bonds as a Dragon family.

Here’s all the ways we will celebrate on Tuesday, October 7th:

The Dragon Fund – Feed the Flame, Fund the Future
Day of the Dragon is also our Day of Giving to the Dragon Fund. The Dragon Fund directly supports the true cost of a St. George education, directly supporting academics, arts, athletics, and more. Your gift – big or small – helps every Dragon.

Spirit Wear Day
Students may wear their St. George spirit shirts with regular uniform bottoms and shoes. We can’t wait to see campus glowing with Dragon pride!

Home Games
Join us in the gym to cheer on our Dragons in two exciting volleyball matches:

• 4:30 PM – JV Blue vs. Concordia
• 5:30 PM – Varsity vs. Concordia

There will be some fun giveaways in the gym for those who are in attendance!

Also, stop by the eSports Rocket League match happening in the ICE Cube to check out the action!

Day of the Dragon is a celebration of everything we love about St. George. When we give, when we cheer, when we stand together, we remind our students that they are surrounded by a community that believes in them.
