Holly Marie Carroll Scholarship Award

The Holly Marie Carroll Scholarship Award is not just an honor—it is a call to live as Holly lived:
with kindness, joy, and love for God and others.

The Holly Marie Carroll Scholarship Award was created to honor the life and legacy of Holly Marie Carroll, a beloved student of St. George Episcopal School.

Holly attended St. George from PK4 through 8th grade. She was a radiant light in this world—fiercely intelligent, deeply faithful, and filled with kindness. Holly had a gift for making everyone feel welcome, whether a close friend or a stranger, and she always sought out those who felt left out to bring them joy and belonging.

Holly was involved in cheerleading, dance, choir, musical theater, soccer, volleyball, and basketball. She excelled academically, earning numerous awards, and was an active member of the Beta Club, serving as Senior Vice President in 8th grade. She found great joy in serving her school and community and strove to embody the core values of St. George: Wisdom, Courage, Faith, and Love.

Holly believed that butterflies were God’s way of reminding her of His love. In this same spirit, this scholarship is meant to uplift and encourage students who spread love, faith, and light to others.

This scholarship is awarded each year to one student who reflects Holly’s spirit, values, and dedication to others. The scholarship award will be equal to half the cost of tuition for the awarded school year.
